Marie Noorbergen - Creative Director -

Marie has spent her career at the intersection of design, fashion, luxury and lifestyle brands. She loves to bring her many skills in branding, concepting, art direction & photography to bear on new challenges, particularly those that can benefit from her unique experience at this increasingly crowded intersection.

Starting out in Paris as a graphic designer at the heart of the fashion business, she developed into a conceptual art director for a range of lifestyle brands. In the past few years, Marie has been creative directing campaigns for major brands, crafting the entire voice & vision for new brands, photographing and directing web video content and helped co-found a new app & ecommerce fashion & lifestyle business.

Joes Jeans - Creative Director (Apr 2007 to 2013)

Since 2007, Marie has worked perma-freelance as creative director for all Joes Jeans brand campaigns. She has concepted and created every major brand campaign for outdoor, print, web and film content, as well as overseeing art direction for each season’s Lookbook. In the past two years Marie has also been the photographer for the ad campaign and co-director for all brand campaigns and web video content at - Creative Director/ co-Founder (Sept 2012 to 2014)

In 2012, Marie was a founding partner of a new fashion/lifestyle app & ecommerce website business. Marie, with the founder Ambre Dahan built the brand, a luxury consignment destination and virtual fashion diary from the ground up. From the overall brand look & feel, to designing and created the App, including creating unique creative features such as color filters, retouching, mood boards etc. to designing the multi-layered ecom- merce website. Marie now contributes weekly to the editorial content by photographing some of worlds most inspiring creative people.

Freelance projects, since moving to Los Angeles, Marie has worked as a freelance creative director /art director for many agencies and brands including:

- Madeleine Thompson, where she creating the overall brand look & feel for London cashmere fashion designer, including concepting and photographing the brand print campaign and co-directing web video content.

- Else Denim brand, which she creating from scratch including it’s brand identity, as well as concepting and photographing the launch brand campaign.

- Apple iPhone launch, she worked for TBWA/Media Arts Lab on Apple as the supervising art director on the original launch creative of iPhone with TV and Print campaigns for french speaking countries.

- HBO films & LA Opera, while working for ANDcompany, an LA entertainment agency, she worked primarily on branding, logo’s & graphic design projects for these entertainment brands.

- Supima brand cotton, the ‘lost in harmony’ and ‘sea of cotton’ brand print campaigns were concepted and art directed by Marie in collaboration with Sinesha.

TBWA/Paris - Senior Art Director (April 2002 to November 2003)

Marie was hired personally by Erik Vervroegen to bring her unique fashion & luxury eye to more mainstream lifestyle brands such as Adidas Apparel, Adidas Perfume and Chivas Regal whiskey. At that time TBWA/Paris was the Cannes Agency of the Year, for the second year running and was one of the hottest agencies in the world.

AIR Paris - Art Director (Sept 1997 to April 2002)

She began her career working at the fashion & luxury agency AIR, first as an Art Director at Air Brussels, before she was moved over to Air Paris. There she worked for famous fashion creative director, Tho Van Tran on some of the world’s leading fashion, luxury and lifestyle brands including Dior Perfume, Veuve Cliquot Champagne, Seiko Watches, Cacha rel Perfumes, Kenzo & Jill Sander fashion lines and Mitsubishi Cars brand campaign.

Marie Noorbergen was born in Brussels, Belgium. From 1992 to 1997 she studied at the prestigious La Cambre School of Visual Arts, studying Art and Graphic Design.
